Job Summary

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Manager to lead our Control System software development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development, integration, and support of our control system software and processes in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of software engineers in the development, integration, and support of control system software and processes.
  • Lead the development of new software products and features, ensuring they meet the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software products with other systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement software development processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective software development.
  • Manage and maintain the software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development management, with a strong background in control system software development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software engineers.
  • Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
