Salary and Benefits

Grade 8 (Scale Point 24-27)
Part-time up to 20 hours per week, to be negotiated
39 weeks (term time only)
Salary between £15,686 - £17,291 pa depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recent or relevant experience at a service delivery level in relation to one or more of the following aspects of family outreach services and wider learning and support opportunities:

  • Schools
  • Child and family health services
  • Parenting Support
  • Community development and participation
  • Life Long Learning
  • Person Centred Planning

Including:

  • Experience of multi-agency working in relation to children and families.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience of action plans and monitoring and evaluating performance.
  • Understanding of Social Services System.

Requirements

Professional qualification at NVQ 4 or above related to SEN/Equality & Diversity/Social Care.
Evidence of an understanding of special needs/Disability.
Evidence of recent and relevant continuous professional development.
Evidence of an understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding.

Desirable Skills and Qualities

  • Project management skills.
  • Able to analyse performance data and produce reports.
  • Understanding of integrated services provision.
