About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS. As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients with various mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form trusting relationships with patients and monitor their physical and mental health.
  • Administer medications and offer emotional support to patients.
  • Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and social workers to develop treatment plans.
  • Advise relatives and carers on patient conditions and progress.
  • Keep medical records up to date and conduct standard physical health checks.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • The ability to pass an enhanced background check.
