Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, promoting academic success and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students, encouraging their well-being and engagement.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with unique learning requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a holistic support system.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for supporting young people to learn and develop.
