Job Title: Vendor Service Manager

Barclays Bank PLC is seeking a highly skilled Vendor Service Manager to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our Barclays Execution Services division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations within a business area, ensuring adherence to procedures, risk management strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, developing new processes and procedures through data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business operations and promote alignment with bank objectives and SLAs.
  • Manage operational professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to improve delivery quality.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to measure operational effectiveness, utilizing data and technology to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience.
  • Foster a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, actively encouraging and soliciting feedback to focus on the right areas.
  • Manage attrition by working closely with HR to implement retention initiatives.

Assistant Vice President Expectations:

  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to resolve escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures to support the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls related to work done.
  • Collaborate with other areas to keep up to speed with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources, solving problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information, influencing or convincing stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
