Nurse Seekers Careers is proud to be recruiting a TERM-TIME ONLY Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a private Ofsted rated Good Nursery based in the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very special and fast-growing outdoor-focused Montessori nursery, with a third site opening soon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the team in developing the specific knowledge and skills required to work effectively with children of this age group.
  • To formulate and operate a programme of Montessori activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children in your area, in conjunction with other team members and the Manager.
  • To complete Montessori observations and guide children towards different goals.
  • To follow the nursery's safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well, and secure, and to ensure all team members are able to do the same.
  • To keep records of key children's development and learning journeys, share this with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child's life, and to institute reviews for parents, in conjunction with the Manager.

Requirements:

  • A Montessori qualification is desirable, but not essential. The nursery is willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.
