About the Role

Gibson Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maximum commercial benefit for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Manage project finances and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Monitor project progress and variations to ensure financial implications are understood.
  • Prepare monthly valuations, monitor agreed payment terms, liaise with Main Contractor QS on payless notices or non-payment of applications.
  • Ensure outstanding accounts are collected, chase and resolve debts.
  • Knowledge of sub-contractor self-billing tax invoices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proficient in cost management software.
