About the Role

This is a hybrid position based in London, offering a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. As a Risk Analytics Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new wholesale credit risk models for global Internal Rating Based (IRB) portfolios
  • Enhancing existing credit risk models to improve their performance and applicability
  • Deploying and maintaining credit risk models on existing risk systems
  • Driving data improvement initiatives to support model development

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including risk systems and IT, to ensure seamless model deployment and maintenance. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced experience in a quantitative field and a sound understanding of statistics and data analytics
  • Prior experience in credit risk model development (preferably IRB)
  • Excellent knowledge of wholesale credit process and products
  • Strong coding skills (preferably Python)

As a seasoned professional in the field, you will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

About the Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
