Senior Transaction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Transaction Manager to oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for our client, a rapidly growing organisation in Central London.

This pivotal role will manage end-to-end transaction processes for remote divisions, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the finance team. Reporting into the Transactions Director, the Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for delivering transactions, managing AP, AR, Banking, and Employee Expenses.

This role offers significant exposure to senior management and provides opportunities for growth within a supportive company culture.

  • Lead and manage AP and AR teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of transactions.
  • Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance transaction efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of AP and AR balances, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure smooth transaction flows.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, ensuring skill development and high-performance standards.
  • Owning banking and treasury management function.
  • Oversight of loan repayments, facility agreement terms, and covenant compliance.
  • Cashflow forecasting and reporting support.
  • Ownership of employee expenses management function.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience managing AP and AR functions, ideally in a corporate or multi-legal entity setting. This requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, transaction management, and financial reporting, as well as a proven track record in team leadership and driving operational efficiencies.

Candidates should be highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is essential. We offer a competitive salary package up to £80,000 per annum.
