About Our Client

Our client, a leading technology-led environmental services consultancy, is committed to innovation and offers a range of services including cutting-edge CCTV drainage surveys for various pipe diameters.

Job Description

This fantastic opportunity is available for a CCTV Drainage Engineer to work in a remote, home-based role, covering a geographical region within commutable distance of your home. You will be responsible for conducting CCTV investigations and further work as required.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive CCTV drainage condition surveys using push rod and crawler unit systems.
  2. Evaluate and analyze drainage system conditions, identifying blockages and structural defects.
  3. Generate detailed reports using industry software and provide remedial recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
  4. Produce site plans using AutoCAD software.
  5. Carry out detailed mapping surveys using electromagnetic and sonde location techniques.

Requirements

  • An OS20X or OS19X qualification is necessary for this position.
  • Prior experience in the drainage sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD (Computer Aided Design) is essential.
  • Knowledge of drainage and sewer system design, construction, and maintenance practices is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical data accurately are necessary.
  • Vocational certification including CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, NRSWA is desirable.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
