Job Title: Interim Solicitor - Planning Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Solicitor - Planning Specialist to join our team at Triumph Consultants Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our clients, with a focus on planning and environmental health law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad caseload and provide advice and support on planning and environmental health law.
  • Undertake advocacy for the Council in the preparation and conduct of planning and environmental health cases.
  • Provide legal advice and services to other service units of the Council and draft relevant documents, notices, and orders.
  • Deal with enquiries from members of the public and advise Members on legal matters relevant to the Council.

Requirements:

  • Qualified barrister or solicitor or FILEX (able to obtain or has a current practising certificate).
  • Current driving licence with access to motorised transport and ability to travel as required.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive pay rate of £20.85 per hour PAYE.
  • A 37-hour working week, Monday – Friday, normal working hours.
