About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Projects delivery team at Mitie. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Project and Assistant Project Managers, delivering multiple projects for our BAE customer.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Your expertise in project administration will be matched by a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of projects and drive teams towards excellence. You will work closely with our Head of Projects North to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

We are looking for a leader who can motivate project teams, fostering clear communication, effective collaboration, and high performance. You will also promote a culture of safety and well-being on all projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of Project and Assistant Project Managers in delivering multiple projects
  2. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and expectations met
  4. Risk management and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintenance of high standards of quality in project delivery

Salary Range: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum
