Exciting Opportunity:

Milestone Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a way that truly matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, tailoring activities to help them reach their goals.
  • Assist the lead teacher in adapting lessons to make learning accessible for every student.
  • Develop social and communication skills with students who need extra guidance.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans and strategies to help each child progress.
  • Encourage independence, build confidence, and create a safe and supportive learning space.
  • Track progress and feed back to the team to ensure everyone stays on track.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where everyone can thrive.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to complete one).
  • Maybe you have a TA Qualification, or perhaps you have experience supporting SEND students (we can chat about that).
  • Have a genuine passion for helping others.
  • To be creative and adaptable – no two students are the same.
