We are looking for an Operational Department Head to join our peri-operative team at NHS Golden Jubilee. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of theatres and ensuring that patients receive a high standard of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on a leadership role within our peri-operative team. As an Operational Department Head, you will be responsible for leading a team of theatre practitioners and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

You will be a visible leader, providing clinical supervision for your staff group and supporting them in the delivery of patient care. This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire others.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other departments, such as Critical Care, to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient outcomes. You will also contribute to national services, such as NORS, and focus on utilisation to ensure efficient use of theatres.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
