Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Blossom Fields, an Allegra Care Home. As a key member of our activities team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating engaging programmes and events that promote physical and mental health, social interaction, and community involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a diverse range of activities, including arts, crafts, exercise, and educational programmes, to cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines and care plans.
- Manage budgets and resources to deliver high-quality activities and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and community groups to enhance our services and opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- At least two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Passion for creating engaging and inclusive activities that promote social interaction and community involvement.
