We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Modeling Specialist to join Fuse Energy's team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing statistical models for our energy supply business.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop, implement, and maintain complex statistical models using Python and other data science tools to drive business insights and decision-making.

* Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our models, driving business growth and profitability.

* Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling to identify and mitigate credit risk, ensuring the stability of our financial operations.

* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to credit risk management, applying this knowledge to inform model development and refinement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
  • Advanced statistical and modeling skills, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A background in the energy industry is highly desirable.
