DEBRA International is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Bracknell, Berkshire, with optional home working.

You will work on a Full Time, temporary 9 month FTC basis, 35 hours per week, earning a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.

We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a modern, fit-for-purpose estate that is well maintained and managed, reducing property occupancy costs, querying quotes, and finding cost-effective solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all property-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee rent reviews and lease renewals, focusing on achieving sustainable, long-term agreements that benefit both the charity and tenants.
  • Conduct onsite visits to monitor condition, identify remedial works, plan project works, and assess works in progress.
  • Prioritize, progress, and manage various building-related projects, demonstrating budget and cost management skills.
  • Utilize standard forms of contract and negotiate with contractors, landlords, and agents.
  • Resolve property-related issues with stakeholders, ensuring professionalism and tact.
  • Comply with Asbestos legislation, Planning Regulations, Building Regulations, and Water Regulations.
