We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing embedded software for our cutting-edge products.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from aerospace and defense to factory automation and environmental monitoring. You will be part of a multi-discipline engineering team, collaborating with experts in software development, hardware design, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing embedded software using C/C++ for real-time systems
  • Participating in the direction of coding standards and quality improvements
  • Working in a scrum team structure to deliver high-quality software products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level engineering qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with Docker configuration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
