About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate HLTA to join our team at Randstad Education. As a key member of our team, you will provide emotional support and reassurance to pupils in need, while also encouraging positive behavior and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom, covering classes during PPA time or when the teacher is unavailable
  • Work with pupils who require emotional support and reassurance, using your patience and understanding to help them overcome challenges
  • Assist with the development and implementation of positive behavior plans, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure pupil success
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting academic achievement and social growth
Requirements
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Enhanced Child DBS (we can assist with the process if you don't already have one)
  • Experience working with children or young adults with special learning or emotional needs
  • Patience and understanding when working with pupils who require emotional support
