Job Summary:

ITS Hereford is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating parts to drawings/specification, changing programmes on the machine for the next task, and ensuring the working area is kept clean and tidy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work within the Company's Safety and Quality Policies.
  • Machine components to company drawings, ensuring working to the latest issue number.
  • Inspect goods, ensuring that the parts have been supplied to the latest issue - any discrepancy will be brought to the manager's attention immediately.
  • Ensure the use of the right cutting tool for the job, and report any requirements for new or replacement tools to the manager.
  • Ensure all tools are sorted safely and correctly, and that any inspection equipment or gauges are handled and stored carefully, ensuring they are properly calibrated.
  • Report any doubt about a piece of equipment's accuracy to the manager.
  • Ensure the machine tool being worked on is kept in a safe, clean, and maintained condition.
  • Report any faults to the manager.

Requirements:
  • CNC Hurco machine experience is ideal for this role.
