Role Overview

The Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join their growing team. This role involves managing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and assemblies, and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute weekly expedite reports to designated supply chain partners, ensuring timely responses and accurate data entry into the company ERP system.
  • Analyse exception messages from the ERP system and place purchase orders, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Manage selected suppliers to maintain inventory control and ensure the timely flow of materials.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of commodities and the associated supplier base.
  • Attain a thorough working knowledge of the required ERP system.
Requirements
  • Experience in similar position
  • Experienced in purchasing electronics or electro-mechanical components/parts
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain relationships
Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and progression.
