About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Royal Surrey County Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine electrical maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure patient safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address complex technical problems.
  • Respond to emergency calls as needed, prioritizing the safety of patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum.
  • Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • No on-call duty required but is optional.
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
