Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Risk Consultant to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of Banking – but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver regular, succinct, and meaningful risk reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
  • Contribute to risk and control insights to enable data-driven decisions to be made, and support the delivery of management information (MI), interpretation of data and the forward presentation of said data to required governance forums/senior managers.
  • Oversee regular Executive and Board level reporting packs, and help the Head of Risk and Communications Risk Managers understand and monitor the critical control improvement plans and issue management profile.

About You
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with a number of stakeholders at senior levels.
  • A strong understanding of risk, policy and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in, using a variety of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, to a high standard.
  • The ability to identify themes and to document them in reporting in an insightful way.
  • Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of creating insightful reporting.
