Job Title: Section Manager

Ferrovial Construction UK is looking for a skilled and experienced Section Manager to join our team.



Job Summary:

We are seeking a Section Manager to manage the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and utilities, with experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and supervise a team of construction engineers and technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Oversee the management of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Monitor and control the construction budget to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of construction activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed to the required quality standards.


Requirements:


  • Strong background in civil engineering and utilities.
  • Experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a team of construction engineers and technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve project goals.


Desirable Skills:


  • Experience in working in a construction environment.
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining accurate records of construction activities and progress.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
