Job Title: Qualified Teacher of Physical Education
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified teacher of physical education to join a secondary school in Burnley. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 & 4 children and have experience coaching a school team of football, cricket or rugby. A BTEC PE qualification would be advantageous. The role will be full time and the start date is October 2024. The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching.
Requirements:
- QTS, QTLS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
- Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
