HSEQ Manager Opportunity

For 30 years, Navartis has been a leading innovator in the railway industry. Our expertise spans rail track maintenance and construction projects globally, delivering results in record time while minimizing costs.

We're seeking a Part-time HSEQ Manager based in our Doncaster office, with occasional travel to Kilmarnock for audits and inspections. As a key member of our team, you'll report directly to the group CEO and contribute to maintaining our high standards of efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance to the Leadership team on HSEQ matters and promoting awareness among staff.
  • Developing and implementing effective HSEQ strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with our company values.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Driving a 'Safety First' culture through incident investigation, reporting, and recommendation of improvements.
  • Mentoring and coaching colleagues to take ownership of HSEQ responsibilities within their roles.
Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant NEBOSH and IOSH certifications.
  • Proven experience in a similar HSEQ position within the Rail Sector.
  • Background in managing Health and Safety at various work sites, including manufacturing and depot environments.
  • Familiarity with industry audits and relevant processes is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 per year
