Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Product Design Specialist to lead the development of innovative mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality designs utilizing industry-standard CAD software like Autodesk, ensuring production-readiness.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to drive iterative design and development cycles, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage prototype build processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and functional requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and manufacturability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product design and development as a mechanical design engineer.
  • Mastery of 3D CAD software, with proficiency in Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques and rapid prototyping processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced, collaborative environments with shifting priorities.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
