IT Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and creating detailed designs for software products.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a technical environment. You will work closely with internal and external clients to gather requirements and develop wireframes, models, and diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Developing detailed requirements for project staff, including project managers, systems architects, developers, testers, and end-users.
• Running requirement workshops and meetings.

Location:

The role is based in Leeds, Skipton, or Saltaire, and we support agile working, providing flexibility in how we work.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for applicants who can work collaboratively and communicate effectively with others. The ability to understand complex concepts quickly is essential.

The right candidate will have robust experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in a technical environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Some development experience.
• Geographical Information Systems (GIS), especially geospatial data systems.
• Databases design and definition.
• API interface design.
• UI/UX design.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
