SEN Teaching Support Role in Manchester Secondary School

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a learning support assistant in a secondary school setting. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) to overcome barriers to learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with a passion for SEN to gain valuable experience and contribute to the development of inclusive education practices. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality support services, and we are looking for someone who shares our values.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored plans for pupils. A competitive salary of £85-£100 per day is offered, along with a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to pupils with SEN, including those with complex needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless communication.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth.
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject (2:2 or above)
- Relevant experience or knowledge of SEN, ideally in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for supporting children with SEN and delivering inclusive education
