Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Community Stroke Rehabilitation team in Enfield. The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to stroke survivors and their carers in a community setting.

About the Role

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients' communication and swallowing needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to stroke survivors in a community setting
  • Assess patients' communication and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Experience of working with stroke patients and their families
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
