Job Summary: Financial Operations Assistant

We are thrilled to be partnering with a leading organisation in the finance sector as they seek to recruit a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accountant to provide critical financial support and assistance, ensuring the efficient operation of the Accounts department.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Processing and managing purchase invoices
- Preparing and coordinating payment runs
- Conducting regular bank reconciliations to guarantee financial accuracy
- Processing sales invoices and managing customer payments
- Reconciling credit card statements to prevent discrepancies
- Providing support with month-end tasks to meet deadlines

To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience working in a similar capacity, ideally with around 2 years of experience. AAT Level 3 qualifications or equivalent are also essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities are crucial. Proficiency in using Excel and accountancy systems is also necessary.
