Senior VAT Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager / Senior Manager to join their team of chartered accountants in Maidstone. This leading firm provides a range of services to clients across corporates, professional practices, not-for-profit organisations, and private clients.
The firm offers a diverse range of assurance and business services to a client base ranging from small businesses and startups to substantial international groups. With ongoing growth and positive developments, you will have a significant opportunity to progress in your career.
As a VAT Manager / Senior Manager, you will work within a regional team responsible for providing a mixed VAT compliance and advisory service. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading specific sectors dependent on your areas of expertise and interests.
- Contributing to marketing and business development efforts.
- Providing client updates at physical events and webinars.
- Reporting to the VAT Partner and having opportunities for progression to director and beyond.
- Overseeing and supporting a team of junior staff.
- Interacting with other lines of services, including tax audit, corporate finance, etc.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA qualified or qualified with experience and a strong background in indirect/VAT tax.
- Extensive VAT compliance and/or advisory experience.
