Care Support Role

We are seeking a skilled Disability Support Assistant to join our team at The Glenmore Trust. As a Disability Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently and reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily living support to adults with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Encouraging individuals to participate in activities and hobbies
  • Supporting with medication administration and record-keeping

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Nationally recognised qualifications in healthcare or a related field (training provided)
