About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Automation Specialist to join our team as the primary engineer on site during core shift times. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support and addressing issues swiftly, using their expertise in PLCs and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently and efficiently as the sole engineer on site during your shift, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to operators and engineers as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A background in automation and PLCs.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • A 30-minute paid lunch break each day.
  • A rotating dayshift schedule (Monday to Thursday).
