We are seeking an experienced Principal CDM Designer to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in managing and monitoring the Pre-Construction phase. You will be responsible for coordinating Health & Safety, ensuring that multiple team members and duty holders comply with their duties, and providing pre-construction information to designers and contractors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Fulfilling the duties of the Principal Designer as defined under CDM 2015
  • Coordinating Health & Safety and ensuring compliance with relevant duties
  • Providing pre-construction information to designers and contractors
  • Assisting the client in identifying, obtaining, and collating pre-construction information
  • Validating health & safety credentials of contractors
