Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a global leader in switchgear and associated products, is seeking a skilled Sales Estimator EMEA – Modular to join our team in Castle Mills, Kendal. As a key member of our Modular Sales team, you will work closely with our sales team to prepare and manage the sales estimation process from receipt of enquiry through to order generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating all types of Modular systems, including SKID and External PODs
  • Managing enquiries and meeting deadlines
  • Liaising with clients over the phone to pre-qualify requirements
  • Building & maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party associates
  • Promoting Anord Mardix products and services, expanding our customer base, and improving product design as required
  • Assisting with sales administrative tasks and supporting other Anord Mardix departments to maximize profits
  • Carrying out routine follow-ups with clients and collaborating with external sales team members to secure new orders and win new customers

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills with high levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft-based operating systems and the Office suite (Outlook / Word / Excel)
  • Sector-specific experience beneficial, with training provided as needed
  • Driven, forward-thinking, and able to make decisions/valuations in relation to budget costs from limited information
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet requested deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
