Our Exciting Opportunity

An estimated £50,000 - £60,000 salary is available for this Analyst position in our Energy Systems Team. As a key enabler in decarbonising the grid, we are advancing with investment in smart technology and innovation to connect renewable energy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  1. Prepare and Submit Applications: Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality outputs to the Electricity System Operator (ESO) by preparing and submitting applications for transmission access.
  2. Develop Quality Standards: Develop and routinely check quality standards for transmission access to ensure excellence in our processes.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Legal Frameworks: Possess knowledge of legal frameworks and contract law.
  • Strong Communication: Demonstrate strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Decision Making and Planning: Showcase decision-making, planning, and organisational abilities.
  • Negotiation and Customer Service: Exhibit negotiation skills and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Technical understanding of the distribution and transmission electricity networks.
  • Data-driven skills to develop reports and visualisations.
  • Understanding of the technical process for connection applications to the GB electricity networks.
