Job Title: Workforce Information Analyst

The NHS Devon system workforce team is seeking a skilled Workforce Information Analyst to deliver high-quality workforce information analytics and business intelligence solutions. This role involves creating, designing, and delivering a suite of current, high-quality workforce reports and dashboards across various workforce areas, including performance against annual plans, retention, supply pipelines, and strategic modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop workforce reports and dashboards using data analytics tools and software.
  • Extract, validate, analyze, and present workforce data to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure effective delivery of workforce information analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Work in a matrix and flexible way to support business needs and priorities.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of MS packages, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and proficiency in databases and Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience of using information systems, including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and R.
  • Proven experience in analytical roles, preferably in an NHS environment.
  • Basic knowledge of project principles and experience of planning and organizing tasks or projects.
  • Understanding of Data Protection Act and commitment to equality of opportunity and good working relationships.
