Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pool Attendant to join our team at Leisure SK. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our customers while supervising the swimming pool and its surroundings as a lifeguard.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be comfortable with responsibility.

About the Role

This is a full-time position available at Grantham Mere's Leisure Centre. The successful applicant will receive an estimated salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

You will be required to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, to ensure that our centre remains open seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake general lifeguard duties to the standards defined in the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for our customers
  • Assist with the preparation and operation of events and activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle minor problems efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals
