Housing Team Leader

Job Summary

Hyde is seeking a Housing Team Leader to oversee the effective operational management of housing services outsourced by a third party, ensuring all operational aspects are delivered as per the contract specification.

About the Role

  • Manage a team of 7 staff providing housing management services to residents of the Islington PFI contract.
  • Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders, including the local authority and other sub-contractors.
  • Ensure a proactive, inclusive, customer-focused efficient service is delivered to all customers.
  • Act as Hyde's expert in managing the Islington PFI housing management service, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, service standards, and performance targets.
  • Maintain positive tenant relationships, address concerns, resolve disputes, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee tenancy management functions, including all locations, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housing.
  • Previous experience of leading a team is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
