BUILDING CAREERS UK is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will be responsible for working closely with the commercial manager to deliver high-quality cost estimates and project plans.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small refurbishments to large-scale healthcare developments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage detailed cost plans for healthcare-related projects, including the estimation of materials, labor, and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate cost estimations and project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify potential issues and develop strategies for mitigating risks.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices, including cost planning and tendering processes.
  • Proven experience in commercial project coordination or quantity surveying, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

The estimated salary range for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Based in Liverpool, this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of Building Careers UK.
