Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom World Vision Perú Full time
Senior Programme Manager

World Vision is an international children's charity working with children, their communities, and with supporters and partners, in almost 100 countries.

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our Programme Management team, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of institutional donor-funded programmes, including commercial contracts and grants.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of complex, high-risk programmes, ensuring positive outcomes for children in fragile contexts. This will involve managing consortium projects where World Vision is either the lead or a key partner.

You will also be responsible for managing relationships with donors, leading on key donor-facing interactions, and ensuring timely submission of financial and narrative reports.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with Programme Finance Officers to monitor budgets, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be expected to proactively assess programmatic and organisational risks, adapting programme strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.

You will oversee the start-up, implementation, and closeout of multiple programmes, ensuring strong governance and adherence to project management frameworks.

Essential skills and experience include expertise in managing consortium-led programmes, commercial contracts, and payment-by-results initiatives, as well as outstanding communication and relationship management skills.

A passion for working in international development, alongside a degree in a relevant field (International Development, Programme Management, etc.), is also required.

This role offers the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.

We offer a competitive salary, good benefits, and the chance to work with a global organisation making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

World Vision is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from under-represented sections of the community.

We operate flexible working policies and practices, and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
