About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, using your expertise to drive positive change.
  • Supervise and support junior staff and students, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement activities, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Post-qualification experience in a physical setting, with evidence of personal and professional development.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, with the ability to lead and influence others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Understanding of common medical and surgical conditions, care of the elderly, neurology, trauma, and orthopaedics.
