About the Role

Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a highly skilled Senior Integrated Logistics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs by providing complete support and service solutions to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contributing to and/or leading ILS work, depending on the size of the work package;
  • Working with the Programme teams to provide all the elements for a successful Entry Into Service and ongoing support of our new products;
  • Influencing both the product design and commercial offering to optimise whole life costs and provide a support solution that fits in with LPS strategic vision for the aftermarket.
  • Responding to changes, such as upgrades, by ensuring the data and processes needed for effective support remain relevant and accurate;
  • Analysing opportunities to improve services and reduce costs or increase margins and making changes within the business to achieve the benefits.

Requirements

Main requirements for this role include:

  • A degree or significant experience in a technical area, such as aerospace or automotive;
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas or similar, relevant experience: ILS, Product or Customer Support in a technical environment, Maintenance, Fleet Management, Plant Management, Asset Management, Support Engineering, a role involving RAMS activities (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Supportability/Safety), New Product Introduction;
  • Able to create credible, auditable work and be creative in your approach to problem solving;
  • Understanding of how most of the following elements of ILS are created and used, and ability to use them as sources of information for decision making and informing others: FMECA, RBD and FTA, Maintainability Analysis, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) / Supportability Analysis, Whole Life Cost Models, Repair and overhaul and their documentation in Technical Publications (manuals).
