IT Director

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to join our team as Head of IT. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive IT professional who wants to drive innovation and play a critical role in our company's continued success.

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Head of IT or Senior IT Manager to join a leading, highly successful independent transport and logistics company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the IT department, overseeing the maintenance and regular upgrades of all IT hardware and software.

• Lead the IT department and manage relationships with technology suppliers to ensure SLAs are met.
• Drive IT projects across the business, ensuring their successful and timely completion.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and present innovative solutions to improve business performance to the board of directors.
• Be hands-on when necessary, supporting the team with tasks such as IT installations at new sites.
• Communicate effectively with the board, presenting project updates and sharing strategic insights.
• Ensure IT issues are addressed promptly, escalated where necessary, and communicated effectively across the business.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage IT teams and projects.
• Proficiency in key IT areas such as Office 365, Sage, CRM & ERP systems, MS SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, VM Ware, Cybersecurity, Network infrastructure, Devices, and Traditional telephony systems.
