Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Silverdale Primary Academy. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils, providing individualized support to ensure they reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils, adapting to their needs and abilities
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, preparing materials and resources as needed
  • Support pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in lessons
  • Develop and implement engaging activities to promote learning and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system

Requirements:

  • Patience, calmness, and enthusiasm in interacting with children
  • Confidence in running stimulating activities and educational programs
  • Ability to build and encourage confidence in children, empowering them to lead their own learning
