Tendering Specialist

As a Tendering Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process, from initial receipt to submission and award, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Preparing accurate and optimising tender estimates, ensuring all inputs are approved and submitted on time.
  • Tender Documentation: Managing the review and distribution of ITT clarifications, bulletins, and responses, ensuring all deliverables are completed and approved as required.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintaining strong communication with internal and external teams to ensure smooth tender processes and alignment with management.
  • Internal Documentation: Drafting tender authorisation papers, presentations, and support senior management with key tender decisions.
  • Tender Management: Overseeing the tender process by adhering to schedules, tracking actions, and facilitating review meetings to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Risk Assessment: Supporting the Tender Lead in consolidating risk and qualifications input from technical teams.
  • Data Maintenance: Maintaining tender records to assist with management analysis and forecasting.
  • Project Handover: Managing the handover of awarded project estimates to the cost control team for seamless execution.

  • Strong commercial acumen, ideally with experience in a tendering or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with a knack for managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • A detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative setting.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel for short assignments within the UK and abroad.

Estimated Salary:£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
