We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medicines Management and Dispensary Technician to join our Pharmacy department at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to our patients.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in medicines management and a strong understanding of pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for participating in a safe, efficient, and accurate dispensing service to all pharmacy users, including the dispensing of controlled drugs and oral chemotherapy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing medicine management duties in allocated wards, including assessing patients' own drugs, drug history taking, and near-patient dispensing.
  • Assisting ward pharmacists and NMPs with advanced medicine optimization and clinical prioritization.
  • Supporting and directing the workflow of all dispensary staff, ensuring SOPs are followed and standards are maintained.
