Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join our team. As a reputable law firm, we are looking for a skilled professional to handle complex, high-value clinical negligence cases from inception to trial.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, however, we may also consider part-time candidates on a 4-day basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling their own caseload of complex clinical negligence cases, including claims related to amputation, misdiagnosis, and birth injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complex, high-value clinical negligence cases from inception to trial
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior members of the team
  • Develop and implement effective case management strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless case progression

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 5+ years of clinical negligence experience. You should have experience of high-value, complex clinical negligence claims, including exposure to amputation and birth injuries. Previous experience using Proclaim case management software is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of business development and networking.
