Imperial Consulting is offering a dynamic Management Trainee program in Glasgow, designed to develop future leaders through hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and team management.

Role Overview:

As a Management Trainee, you will gain comprehensive experience across various aspects of sales and management. Starting with hands-on training in face-to-face sales and marketing, you'll quickly progress into a leadership role where you will oversee small teams and lead in-field sales campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of in-person sales, marketing strategies, and customer engagement through initial hands-on training at events and retail locations.
  • Assist in managing sales campaigns, including setting up marketing displays, coordinating team activities, and interacting directly with customers to drive sales.
  • Develop leadership skills by gradually taking on responsibility for leading small sales teams, providing guidance, and ensuring targets are met.
  • Analyze sales performance, collecting data and feedback to refine strategies and improve results for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand the overall business objectives and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, continuously developing your skills and expanding your knowledge base.
  • Identify areas for team improvement and assist in training new recruits, ensuring all team members are equipped with the skills needed for success.
  • Engage directly with customers, presenting our services, answering inquiries, and closing sales to build long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
  • Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas).
  • Must be available for full-time work.
  • Must not have applied for any Imperial Consulting roles in the past 30 days.
  • Understanding that we do not do digital marketing—this role focuses exclusively on in-person marketing and team management.
  • No prior experience is necessary; however, a background in sales, customer service, or retail is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with people, with the ability to engage, motivate, and lead.
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented mindset, with a desire to advance into management roles and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
